OK, I'm checking here to see if anyone knows how to fix this before I have to create a new forum account over on ubi just to fix this. Bought SHV on steam yesterday. Downloaded, installed, and ran it. It opened Uplay which promptly updated. I registered my uplay account, but it says I have no games and I can't find where I need to go to tell it the serial number. Anybody seen this? Anybody got a fix?

It finally worked, randomly for no apparent reason. But I'm not going to complain. i'm going to go sink ships instead! :arrgh!:

Hi everyone, I have a problem running SH5. It just worked until last night. This afternoon I clicked on the usual game's logo and the usual "downloading upgrades" appeared. Then nothing, instead of the uplay page with the "play" button to click. What is going on? I also tried to activate the game to make it run on Steam but it says that the code is unvalid. I unistalled and installed the game but the result is the same. Thanks for reading. Waiting for suggestions.

Did you also try reinstalling uplay?

I am running from steam. When I first ran I got my key and was asked to enter it. I then had problems running the program. If you right click the Silent Hunter 5 entry in Steam, select properties, then have it validate the files I had over 600 files corrupted during the install.

ouch. And since then you have deleted local content and re-downloaded the game?
