View Full Version : Extraordinary view of a rocket launch

This one's from 2007, but only saw it posted recently by Phil Plait.

On June 7, 2007, a Delta II rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force
Base in California. Knowing full well this event was taking place, Air Force Staff
Sergeant Eric Thompson, an instructor with the 532nd Training Squadron, figured
he knew a place that might provide a better view than usual.

Not sure what ed-209 is, but go ahead,lol That pic reminded me of the one taken by a passenger on a airliner who caught the last shuttle launch, looked very similar!

Yeah, ED-209 was the other robot in RoboCop. Used to be scared as hell of that
scene where ED-209 kicks Robo's butt as a kid. :haha:

Now I remember the scene from that movie, just didn't recall that name! Guess I'll have to change my forum name then!:D Now i have to figure out how to do the change, where's Neal when you need him!?!
