“Liking” something on Facebook is a form of speech protected by the First Amendment, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday, reviving a closely watched case over the extent to which the Constitution shields what we do online

Writing in this messagebox typing in this very message is no different then if i had taken a ink quill pen to a piece of parchment paper. Generally speaking, so long as I am not making making violent threats upon another person or their property, or otherwise infringing upon the constitutional rights of others, I should be able to exercise my freedom of speech however I see fit. Just sayin'.

Great decision, really.now if it manages to survive SCOTUS(if it makes it there) we will be set, well somewhat.

The advantage of using parchment is that you can burn your letters and destroy any evidence. If I did not write it down then it did not happen.:arrgh!:
Unlike using electronic media which you have no control over, and remains out there in the ether somewhere.
