Iran is planning to send a Persian cat into space next March!! I guess they didn't get over how stupid they looked after they said they successfully launched a monkey last time, lol

If they are going to launch animals into space, they better brush up on their Photoshop skills!!:D

Do tomcats get 77 virgin kitties as well? Anyhow, I assume in the near future they will not raise their flag anymore, by a piece of Persian cat fur instead.

Very clever choice, they don't have to waste money on fancy parachutes and stuff for a soft landing - it'll just jump and land on its feet.

The North Koreans tried sending a cat into space but ended up eating it instead.

Can a cat survive the g forces of liftoff and re-entry?

I remember seeing something about the usa using cats to guide bombs, but found they passed out while in free fall.

Iran just wants to kill cats, I am sure they would lauch a monkey ,but mahmoud "monkey boy" ahmadinejad is too busy killing protestors.

Pigeons worked much better. I think they were checked out along with the Bat Bombs.

Is that even part of the mission, to bring the test subject back alive?

Well, it's a cat, so they get nine chances.

Maybe they are going to use the cat as a source of power onboard the craft via perpetual motion:

As silly as yours and my post may seem, they actually did these things. (not telling you, just doing some educating to others who may take it as a joke)

Cats in theory could guide bombs because they always land feet down....

Uhhh wow.:o

And Iran wants to put one through major g-forces, if the rocket does not explode on the pad, the passenger will die anyways.

(as I said before, they passed out when being dropped in dummy bombs.)

Be a man! Send a HUMAN!
