Not sure why people are fooled by the things they are no better than a "real" cigarette.
I have seen people use them saying that they will use them to stop smoking.A sucker is born every minute.

I heard mention on the radio some studies have been conducted and they also still have carcinogenic properties in the vapors.

Not to mention that it's nicotine itself that causes heart disease. These things are like heart attack delivery devices.

I bet that they also contain a high amount nicotine more so than the typical traditional smoke does.

Is this a new CIA variant on the old "Kill Castro with an exploding cigar" gambit?...

What many haven't realized is that the E-cigarettes take little cartridges with the nicotine in them. These things are manufactured in China with little to no supervision of what's being put in them. Considering their dismal track record on a number of other products, I wouldn't use one of the things if they gave it away for free.:-?

I can see the marketing when people first thought of them.I bet they had seen those prescription pipe deals that have a dose of nicotine in them.

Someone just realized that they could make something similar and market it as a way to stop smoking and also (falsely) claim that they are not harmful.Which makes people think they are a good choice because they only contain nicotine but nothing else of course nicotine is not so good over the long term.

Then they also market them as a way to smoke where you can not smoke though I hear that many areas treat them just like a burning cig.On top of that they are sort of trendy and "cool" looking.

I notice some now that are like a mini hooka.I even saw once a family and the daughter to me at least appeared to be 16 or 17 but the parents where letting her smoke it this was one of the hooka wannabes. But with a real hooka (not the pot head kind which is a bong) you do not inhale the vapors still though it is not good for you.

In Lebanon it is illegal to sell E-sigs.They are also illegal in Brazil.

Only in Maryland, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Utah, Wisconsin, California, and Colorado are there laws in place banning the sale of e-cigs to minors.

Also the big tobacco makers are either starting their own or buying e-cig brands already on the market.Hard to believe when you think of how much tobacco use costs us all that it is still legal.

Never going to be outlawed due to all the tax revenues collected on them by the state and federal governments. Plus, it would only create a new black market.

Just out of curiosity, what has it cost us all, specifically? Stop for a moment and consider the costs to monitor everyone's behavior 24/7/365.:hmmm:
Suggesting a slippery slope toward control of everything people do is kind of meh. What people choose to do with their own biological robot is their business. Legislating behavior is a slap in the face of Lady Liberty and it's unenforceable to boot.

I am talking about the health insurance costs the friends and loved ones who died from smoking related illnesses everyone has one.

Not sure why see the need to spin what I said up to being in supporting a state of total control. Not everything is a slippery slope.

By your argument having any from of law is a slippery slope it should seem.
