Sports. Science. Music. None of those would be what they are today without his "Dream". Say what you want about any or all black endeavors today, Doctor King did make a big difference. Many of the people who use his name have perverted his vision, but he still stands as one of the great American heroes.

You can't deny that the US has come a long long way since those days, there was an interview with two chaps on Radio Four this morning, Reverend Jim Wallace, and Ron Christie, and it was interesting to see that Christie was much more optimistic about the current state of affairs in America than Wallis was. There was talk, and I must admit I do agree to some extent, of the 'racial grievance industry' by Christie.
So yes, they both agreed that the US has come a long way, but there's still a way to go, they just couldn't agree just how far. :haha:
