/facepalm
Truman probably had a lot more integrity then Obama. Despite that, Truman in this picture is irrelevant, it's the oval office desk you should be looking at.

from the article:
"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job," Bush said.
In praise of his FEMA chief just days before he resigned.
Proof that Bush and his Republican cronies were racist?
It isn't hard for Democrats or Democratically leaning pollsters to show how ignorant their counterparts are.:shifty:
But, that shoe is ambidextrous too.
What do you call a hundred politicians at the bottom of the Potomac?
A real good start!:haha:
...it's the oval office desk you should be looking at.
I would think it's the guy sitting at the desk that matters more.
29% of the Louisiana Republicans seem to be missing that.

My point was whoever sat behind the oval office desk at the time bears the ultimately responsibility . If BO wasn't in office, it obviously wasn't him.

If you have to explain it, it kind of loses that wow factor.

I make a lame attempt at a vague reference, and now I'm not getting the "first president" bit, cause BO is the 44th if im not mistaken. Either i've had too much caffeine today, or not enough.

If Obama wasn't always picking Riki and then getting himself ganked, my team might win more often in DoTA. Obama clearly is biased against Dire.

Refresh my memory was Obama on the side of the North or the side of the South?
Wasn't Illinois a neutral state? ... Hawaii wasn't even in the union then :woot:

It doesn't really matter; facts be damned, it's still all Obama's fault and he was plotting all of this while he was living in Kenya under British rule...

I suppose the difference to note is the lack of people who would post stuff from those fringe sources, compared to the number of people who regularly post articles from the opposite fringe.

Cuban Missile crisis was Obamas fault too.
Typical red stater.
So much to kill Obama on,so so much...
But not this, grasping for straws far right nonsense, is no good for this country.
Gee wizz Beaver, if a Democrat polling group says so, it just gotta be true!

The left ain't any different. The word "Compromise" nor the term "meet in the middle" is no longer in the American political lexicon. Personally, I no longer care. I think things are past that point anyway. We'll probably have a financial collapse before anything else, and at that point, it won't matter anymore.

I have to confess, I did not recognize the first one.
It took me a little while with the first one, but since I recognised Ike I just backtracked. I wouldn't have got Ford if nik hadn't mentioned Jimmy who I knew was after Nixon but before Reagan. Amazing how similar H.W is to W and how different he looked when he was president.

Actually he was a captain in the artillery in WWI which probably gave him the necessary insight to use the bomb on Hiroshima as another form of artillery which can be non discriminating in its effects; the next step down was the British Tallboy... otherwise known as the "cookie' over Berlin. But the coolest one is still old George Washington who started one war at Ohio and ended another at Yorktown and managed to get sworn in wearing his Masons apron. THey hadn't invented the Medal of Honor nor the Nobel Prize as with Teddy R. for whom the ubiquitous bear IS named. BULLY!:arrgh!:

Buchanan:up:. But, if we are considering their final rants, we could include Lincoln as he ended his military service as a Private.
I guess it comes down to Highest Rank or Final Rank. :yep:

Lincoln indeed ended his career in the Blackhawk war of 1832 as a private; but initially he was an elected captain of the 31st Regiment of Militia and then 4th Regiment of Mounted Volunteers. When these were musterd out he reupped as a private. In 1852 by act of Congress he received 40 acres of land for this service and in 1856, another 120 acres; altogether a considerable holding. He made much political hay of his service in later years. He participated in no battles in the slow paced but vicious war, arriving at the battles of Stillman's Run and Kellogg's Grove to help bury the scalped dead militiamen. Black Hawk's thousand man foray into Illinois must have made a lasting impression... as any native Minnesotan knows, Lincoln ordered the largest mass-execution (by hanging) in American history at New Ulm MN when the Santee Sioux rampaged, not without cause, in 1860 under Inkpadutah and Shokopee.:arrgh!:
