DHS Employee Promotes Race War in Spare Time, Advocates Mass Murder of Whites
(http://www.splcenter.org/blog/2013/08/21/dhs-employee-promotes-race-war-in-spare-time-advocates-mass-murder-of-whites/#.UhUrdElWfjY.twitter)
By day, Ayo Kimathi works for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a small business specialist in a unit that buys such items as handcuffs, ammunition and guns.

Off-duty, he calls himself “the Irritated Genie.” He’s a gay-bashing, revenge-seeking black nationalist who advocates on his website – War on the Horizon – the mass murder of whites and the “ethnic cleansing” of “black-skinned Uncle Tom race traitors.”

“Warfare is eminent,” the website declares, “and in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites – more than our Christian hearts can possibly count.”

I am amused this made front page on Foxnews: DHS Manager Promoting Race War (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/08/22/dhs-employee-spends-spare-time-promoting-race-war-against-whites/)
I can't find any mention of it on CNN as of yet, which is equally amusing, and equally telling.

I am not amused with the DHS, nor of the caliber of people it hire's.

Why would the more liberal "news" outlets talk about this?

Its like asking why Fox wouldn't cover the koran burnings by "Christians".

Each outlet has their agenda - and the stories they put out reflect that.

American news stations scare me. Would it kill any of them to actually present news? As opposed to salacious spin?

True. It also reflects not only in what they report, but how they report it, and the choice of words being used. Of that, I find it amusing most of the time. Other times I find it downright disgusting. Right now I'm just amused.

Yes, it probably would kill them.

What should scare you more is that free press is arguably the foundation of a truly free society and currently in the US there are no unbiased media outlets. The sad truth is that The Colbert Report and The Daily Show which satirize the "real" media are in effect much better unbiased sources of information.

Most Americans get their news from someone CNN or Fox which are both utter crap.

In the US you have Pravda Right Wing and Pravda Left Wing.

In the US you have Pravda Right Wing and Pravda Left Wing.

Just following the divide and rule concept of your regents.

Who controls your perception controls your reality, your truth, your motivation.

You choose yourself what Pravda Wing to follow, enhancing your view of the world.

It's not really much different than it ever was, and in fact somewhat better. Two hundred years ago there were privately printed papers which carried whatever news they got from similar papers around the globe. It was usually weeks old and went into the back pages. The headlines were usually the printer's personal opinion and reflected whatever political and moral bias he might have. Today's news outlets couldn't say the things they did then without getting sued.

Sadly, some of the UK news is getting that way to.

Certainly news in the US has been bias for a long time, moreso with cable news. Honestly cable news has become junk. I can hardly watch any of it after 8PM. I can stomach Anderson, Smith and a few others.

I get my news here at Subsim.:salute:

Yeah but look at the bright side. Without Jingoist yellow press we wouldn't have liberated Cuba, gained the Philipines, and, with Dole pineapples thrown in, annexed Hawaii, and had great sea battles to discuss..."You may fire when ready Gridley"-Dewey at Manila Bay:arrgh!:
