CTD OF SH5 WITH WIN7 64bit OS

Hello everyone,


Has anyone managed to get SH5 to run with Win7 64bit OS?

PC: DELL OPTIPLEX 745
8MB of RAM
NVidia 8800GT Graphics card 4MB

I had this game running perfectly until Ubisoft decided to update it online,thereafter it has failed to work.


I contacted Ubisoft tech support and despite all their suggestions, it still CTD's when I attempt tp load a mission or career from the loadout screen...


Any suggestions would be much appreciated...I had some great help here back in Feb, but it still CTD'd.

Right click the SH5 exe and go to properties/compatability . Make compatible with windows 7 . See if that works .

I have win7 64bit ultimate and it runs great.



Any mods in use?

Are you having problems with the Ubi launcher or SH5.
Many have had issues with the launcher after the last update - try a search for fixes

1.Set uplay to offline mode
2.Use TDW patcher to turn off Orbitlistner
3.Start new campaing , do NOT use your OLD SAVES

Don't turn off OrbitListener if you don't know what you're doing exactly..
Campaign progress doesn't save when OrbitListener is disabled..
