First movie I saw her in was Easy Rider.
R.I.P.
I thought 5 Easy Pieces was an interesting movie. Therefor it should be no real shock to understand that I thought The Lion in Winter was one of the best movies I've ever seen.
Katherine Hepburn was awarded her 2nd Oscar for her role in that movie. The dialogue in the movie was exquisite. The riposte, jousting of intellect is just breathtaking. That P. O'Toole played Hepburn's 'nemesis' didn't hurt whatsoever.
I always had the perspective that the title, 5 Easy Pieces, was an oblique musical reference, i.e., scores, with respect to the character's being sketched in the movie. All the actors played their roles well, including Jack Nicholson. He being the central figure, albeit the director tries to elicit sympathy from the audience for the character's plight, but the guy was actually a pretty unlikeable guy; you hated to like him.
She's had that cute thing going, if cross-eyed blonde thing works for you. Otherwise she's had a sort of Claudia Black thing goin' there for me.

Wow, now there's a name I haven't heard in a very long time; Karen Black. I always thought she was hot, back in the day.
RIP
I kinda thought she was hot, too. I know I saw her in quite a few movies, but the only one I can remember is Burnt Offerings.
All the actors I liked are old or dead now.

"I wonder what she'd look like without all those clothes?" When she repeats the line at the end of that segment the way she pronounced "clothes", sounding out the "th", was one of the sexiest things I had heard to that date. Then there's the end of that same segment: "You've drugged me!" "No, dear, I've killed you."
Trilogy of Terror was based on three stories by Richard Matheson, author of 'Terror at 20,000 Feet', Logan's Run and I Am Legend. I had read the short story 'Prey', and was very pleased at how close they stuck to it in that final segment. :sunny:
