Greetings to all Subsim users! Just wanted to introduce myself to the Subsim community.
My name is Henry and I am a 18 year old living in the UK. Me (and my parents) have recently finished a 7 year circumnavigation around the world on our 40 foot sail boat. I have lived on boats all my life and love researching maritime history (mostly submarines from World War 2 and ocean liners). I bought a copy of Silent Hunter 4 in a shop in Singapore and have been hooked on Submarine simulators ever since. Unfortunately, while sailing from Singapore to South Africa, the boat was knocked down by a large wave and we lost a great deal of electronic devices including our radar and laptop (the laptop which I had Silent Hunter 4 installed on):wah: After we finished our 7 year voyage, I bought a better computer and have recently just started playing Silent Hunter 3, 4 and 5 so I am relatively new to Sub Sims. Anyway, I think the forum is fantastic and I hope to speak with members of the Subsim community soon! :)
