Sub Hunter 4 On Windows 8

Just got my new HP Envy dv7 Laptop with Windows 8.

Would like to download Silent Hunter: Wolves Of The Pacific - Gold Edition from Amazon, but am worried that it might not run on Windows 8.

I have found my old version of Aces of the Deep will no longer run on oit.

Silent Hunter 4 and Aces of the Deep are from 2 totally different PC-eras. You just cannot expect similarity in OS compatibility of games that are released at least 12 years apart.

as to your Aces of the deep question it took quite a bit of tuning on my W7 laptop so it is uncertain weather it would work on W8 however i would suggest a program like DOSbox. as for SH4 it should work on W8 with minimum tuning
