Patching Silent Hunter 5

Hello, Do I need to download and install the patches ubisoft published for Silent Hunter 5 or does steam update them automatically?:woot:

I think if you have the Steamversion it already have the newest version. The newest ist V.1.2.0 check it out .

But be aware:
I made the mistake 2 years ago to purchase the Steam Version.

You can't patch the Steam Version the additional TDW's *.exe patcher.
From my Point of view TDW's *.exe patcher is essential to use the sim.

What I did was to delete the Steam Version and purchased a download Version through Amazon (use the support link in the upper right corner of the Forum ) was a 8 € investment and it's like having a totaly different sim/game.

You can but only if you have the CD version too. You just have to copy the files form the CD to your Steamversion.
