Plea bargained life in prison without parole...is this lenient or should he have been facing the death penalty otherwise?


The Ohio man accused of raping and holding three women captive in his home for about a decade has agreed to a plea deal that will see him imprisoned for life without the possibility of parole.

Life in prison with no possibility of parole is pretty much the same thing as a death sentence to me and a more fitting retribution for his crime would be to chain him to the floor in a solitary confinement cell without windows and let the twinks in every other day to violate him. In other words, treat him the same way he treated his captives.

Even hardened criminals have a heart for kids. Specifically those who have been abused by an adult. The guy is a pedophile. His life in prison will not be pretty. The death penalty would be to easy. Besides, time for him to experience being incarcerated, raped, beaten and left to stew in his own crap feels like. Much like these girls endured.

I never would have believed it was possible to keep someone hostage for decades. Well, it not only is possible, it is being done.

So who is out there now being held hostage? :nope:

I am not one for neighbours spying on each other, but if you think your neighbour is up to something, let someone know and keep letting them know until someone checks it out.

While you may not agree with what you perceive as leniency in this case, keep in mind that the plea deal may have been offered with the approval of the victims, in order to allow them to retain whatever privacy they have and get on with their lives and healing - as opposed to the necessity of going through the ordeal of a trial (and potential appeals of a guilty verdict).

The latter option could and probably would have dragged things out for months if not years and they would have had to continue reliving the horror of what they endured over and over again in the process. This SOB got, what, ten years of their lives already? If they don't want to devote any more time to dealing with the fallout from that, surely no one can blame them.

Apparently he beat one of the pregnant captives till she miscarried, allowing for two (?) counts of aggravated murder. That's where the death penalty came from.
