I like the looks of it. Just the swimming pool to me is - queer. But I have an itching in my head over any swimming pools on any yachts.

What would owning a submersible yacht say about you?

Only one thing...

You have more money than you have sense.

The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.:D

I'll take one with the ICBM option.

And one for the military guys: DARPA plans designing a submersible aircraft carrier that has only drones aboard. It should launch both submarine drones and flying drones.

Plans to design?
With 9 trillion dollars mysteriously missing from the treasury, I'd say that they've built the thing already. Or they've built a flying AC carrier with cloaking device.:03:

I think the Brits already were faster.

It did. Going sunbathing on my new submayacht.:03::haha:

The pool is the best touch for pranking your guests. If they're in the pool, they won't notice that we submerged an hour ago.:haha:

I'd buy it without nuclear powered propulsion - other than fission. Give me some good multifuel/electric engine and I'm fine. Put some nice SAM's into the package so I'm finally ready to wipe out Switzerland, then the deal is done.
:Kaleun_Salivating:
Just hope they have generous lease conditions, think 10$ per month should be sufficient to pay it off, so in 19 million years I shall be able to own it all by myself.

After I've acquired the sub, you'd better hurry to learn it!:arrgh!:

Yes, but the pics still are visual. ;) The text is not that interesting, just describing what the pics show, and saying that it would cost 2.3 billion if it would compare to the costs of a new Virginia class (which I doubt, since this is no secret hightech military platform).

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that there's a pool on top of a submerging yacht...

Makes no sense at all!

Best place for it...the pool below it is too deep and the top ups are free.

Sailing in the Caribbean, the pool means that you can swim without fear of sharks unlike going over the side into the sea. Although there may be an option to have a shark filled pool for the super villain.

Boring historical anecdote #137631:
In WW2, a German sailor took some serious injury or death (can't remember which exactly) from hitting his head on the saddle tanks in an attempt to jump into the ocean. After this incident uboat crews were forbidden to jump into the water for recreation. Don't know if slowly entering the water was ok, after the closure of the Allied Atlantic air gap, this would have been allowed only in remote waters anyhow.

Ninja edit: it was a Kaleun by the name of Rolf Mützelburg, he died shortly after the accident. Apparently there is a controversity if he hit the deck or the saddle tanks: http://uboat.net/men/muetzelburg.htm

Haven't we have had a discussion about owning your own sub before. I seem to recall someone posted a link to a company or something, were you could buy your own sub, some years ago.

Maybe I'm wrong.
