Hi guys I'm the new guy

And I need to ask a question

How do I use the Acoustic Torps?

They don't seem to track the Vessels that I'm targetting

And forgive me if it's been discussed before or my bad Engrish [][][][]555+

:haha:get within torpedo's range and don't have any other targets that can distract the torpedo from it's intended target. the torpedo will generally hit the engine room area after circling a target and then homing in. always preheat the eels for a bigger bang and mix the torpedo load with steam eels for the second or finishing shot. Naturally liberty ships should only be taken with a steam torpedo directly astern which cripples them so as to be finished off at leisure with the deck gun after the convoy moves on. after firing the acoustic be very silent and change depth yourself. acoustic are particularly good on middleton transporters which tend to bolt the convoy at high speed at 20 knots; wait till they clear the convoy. they tend to blow up with one hit thus in keeping with otto kretschmer's rule one ship one torpedo. the konigseel is better for its higher speed. hope this helps.

The Acoustic torpedo is basically a Fire and Forget system.
The Falke is my preferred type, the other ones may go faster, but have much less range.

I use the falke's from about 3000 meter and I fire them diagonally through convoys, that means if they miss their target, they will go on and hit another ship as it goes, but never equip only acoustics, as tempting as it seems, it is useless against a ship who can maneuver quickly or when they go silent and drift to escape.
