Ok, after installing the game, patching and enabling tdw generic patcher and a few mods the game ran fine.

However,
after experimenting with mod load orders and starting a new campaign, just to be on the safe side, i was receiving ctd every time i went to talk to the guy who gives you the mission orders or with whom you can start a patrol.
Every time. Dialogue comes up, i select something, bam. ctd.

I disabled every mod with jsgme, excluding the patches by tdw generic patcher...
and still, with no mods enabled whatsoever, still ctd.

Anyone know what that could be?

I will try and disable all patches by generic patcher and report back.

EDIT:
After running the game AND LOADING CURRENT CAMPAIGN, no ctd!
SO, WHY can't i start a new campaign without ctd's?

Wrong mods order...search forum for right lists order, and up to date mods :up:

if u use an old generic patcher then disable all from render patches and then enable 1 by 1 from reneder patches "1,2,3,10,11,13,14"
if u have the lates then disable all patches from advanced users

Indeed, some are old(er) mods. However, with that load order jsgme has not given me any warnings of over-writing? Ie jsgme, and me assumes all is ok when building mod list and running game

Generic patcher is latest one.
I will take your advice and test.
