Maybe local subsim members have more information...? She ran aground and sank with 30 people on board, including 23 teenagers - no fatalities thanks to the Irish Coast Guard's great work. I'm glad that this turned out better than the "Pride of Baltimore" or "Fantome" - still sad to see a sailing ship go.

Apparently this was not far from the Head of Kinsale, where the "Lusitania" went down? :hmmm:

It proves that even with modern GPS, charts, and other technology, the sea is a dangerous place. Sad loss of a lovely lady, but just think of the stories the crew can tell of their Irish adventure.
