I love to mow the lawn. It's my favorite thing to do in the summer besides soak in my pool. I got a John Deere and I have about an acre to cut and I look forward to it every week.

Did you know that Lamborghini made tractors before they made sports cars?

I hate mowing the yard. Thankfully my son is just about old enough to do it for me ......

No - I didn't. Learned something, but I'd still rather have a Countach than any tractor!

Cats eat grass too!

Then they throw it up on the carpet... :shifty:

They still make tractors.

http://www.lamborghini-tractors.com/en-EN/defaulten.html

Enzo Ferrari refused to sell Mr.Lamborghini a car at one point so Lamborghini took the snub and made his own super cars.Of course neither Lamborghini Tractori nor Lamborghini Automobli are owned by anyone with the Lamborghini name anymore.

Enzo also subbed Ford acting like he was going to sign a production deal with Ford Motor he then refused to the deal out of the blue(likely his plan all along) Ford fought back which is how the GT40 was born to stick it back to Ferrari and it did winning 1st,2nd and 3rd place at the 1966 Le Mans 24 hour while no Ferraris made it into the top 15 ouch.

Glad you learned something knew. When I first found out a few years ago, I was like "No way."

So many acres do you get per goat? Do you have to train them to eat in rows to get the nice stripes across the lawn?

I visited a customer's house once, when I was fixing white goods, and they had a few goats in the garden. I asked if they were to help cut the grass. "Yes, that's why we got them, but they've eaten everything in the garden but the grass! Even the washing!".

Oops.

Not many know that Porsche build tractors too.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche-Diesel_Motorenbau
(Sorry, no English link on Wikipedia:doh: But there is an American club devoted to them:http://porsche-diesel.com/)

BTW.
The "e" at the end of Porsche is pronounced. I always cringe when I hear English speaking people pronounce it "Porsh".:dead:

Then there is dealing with goat crap all over the place. No one runs barefoot through grass clipped by sheep or goats.

As crazy as it sounds, I'm looking forward to shoveling snow. I'm sick of yard work.
( And by the time we hit the end of winter, I'll be saying the exact opposite. )

Total rubbish! It dose not float as they say and after using it two times I spend more time scrapping the grass out from underneath! Dam thing collects more grass underneath than its grass box! Stupid thing goes arse over tip and likes to spit out clumps of grass as well.

I want to curse you out!:haha:

I have a pic on my old phone, of a Ford f 150 covered to the top with snow, only the wipers sticking out (any snow man knows to pull your wipers up) was the only indication of a car being there.

Can not agree, something tells me you never seen what a "nor' easter" could do.

3 days later, we got another 2 feet of snow, on top of the 3 we got before.

You know how long it takes to dig out!

Plus they needed front end loaders to plow the snow, so it took days to dig out! Your typical snow plow could not keep up.

Do not curse anyone with your snow, I would rather pay the electric bill for my AC!

You just ruined my winter! ;)

Which is why we keep our cars in our garage. All i really NEED to shovel is the driveway. Most snowfall I've seen thus far is 12 inches over night. Takes me about 20 minutes give or take to clear the driveway with a snow shovel. I don't mind the exercise. WHen i get older, maybe i'll look into a snowblower and be lazy like some dude down the street from me.

What is more of a pain is getting out of our neighborhood. The snowplows do not run our street.

Could always be worse, I could live in Buffalo NY. Where 3 feet is the typical storm.

Could always be worse,

That's how i view weather in general. It is what it is, and if you've seen the extremes, you know it could always be worse, and what you have, doesn't seem so bad. Suffice to say, I don't complain about weather.

I do however, complain about yard work! I'm sick of it! :haha:

I feel your pain.

It rains once, your grass grows 2 inches.

You have a wet summer, then your out there in the muggy nasty humidity mowing your silly lawn.

Trust me, sir. I know where you were coming from.:salute:

Isn't that why we have children in the first place?

Reminds me of a conversation with my dad back in '65 or so.

Dad: Steve! You want to cut the lawn for me?
Me: No, sir.
Dad: You gonna do it anyway?
Me: Yes, sir.

I got a "do it now, or I'll rap you in your mouth"

(back in the day when being rapped was painful and not a Jay Z song.):D

I probably have to mow tomorrow...

My mower is like 20 years old. No safety features whatsoever. It dies if I don't ride the clutch. I have to jump it with a battery pack to start it. One headlight works.

I hate it...but it works. :-?

Lawn Tractors are the bomb. Mine turns mowing the grass from a 2 hour sweaty workout into a 20 minute ride around the yard. I'm thinking of installing a suicide knob on the wheel so I can free up my other hand for holding my beer. :)

I thought you would have one of those beer hats with a can held on both sides of your head and straws to your mouth, so you can ride, drink, and shoot the gophers! :03:
