Like some one else in this forum I have found my new home

The Waterbus that takes me to my new home

The water road to my home

http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/mapuc/Road3.jpg

At last after about 75 minutes of travelling we have arrived at our destination
http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/mapuc/Arrival.jpg

My new home is in the middle of the island therefor we have to travel some small roads
http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/mapuc/Smallroad.jpg

The island does have some bigger roads and my house is near that road

http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/mapuc/Nearlythere.jpg

Now I can see my new home

Here a view from my frontdoor

This picture is taken from the garden

Congratulations. :Kaleun_Party:

How big is the island? Do you have to use the waterbus to go food shopping?

I live middle of nowhere. The busses on the island is free for us that lives here. Even the ferry is almost free, I pay only one way on a return ticket.

The reason to why I moved to this place was because my ear problems

I take it you're at sea level or just above?

Nice sturdy brick home from the look of it. Congrats.

Now you and Frau K can compare notes on how to get rid of Ike and the weed gang.:03:

There is of course a big backside to it

The island is a big turist attraction, so the island is invaded by germans, swedes, norwegians, danes and people from other country

Therefor the prices in our resturant is about 3 times higher than the price in an ordinary resturant somewhere else in Denmark.

The house is in need of some repair. The roof is in some bad shape.

Looks like a super nice place to live. I would hope the tourists respect your privacy and neighborhood.

Jealous!

Good stuff!

I used to live on an island in the Pacific NW USA and stuff was so much more expensive due to the ferries needed to get there.

I hope you do not have the same problem, what beautiful scenery.:salute:

Congrats on the new home!

Denmark is very beautiful.

The ferry goes between Svendborg and Ærøskøbing(aeroekoebing)

Thereafter it's about 10 minutes bus travel and then it's about 7-10 min walk.

Yea I live almost in nowhere land, with 2 neighbors on my side and one on the other side of the road.

Some kilometer to my left there's a little town and not so far to my right theres a little town. There are many small towns around this area.( I can't find the precisely number of habitants in these small towns)

I haven't counted how many of them there is.

The crime rate is almost none existents
