So. I meant to put a post up to say hi, and ended up not doing. Given that I've posted a fair bit in the SH4 forum, this seems a bit redundant, still.....
I played SH1 many years ago and liked it a lot. Same with SH4, when I picked it up in the bargain bin at my local game store. I can't remember what got me looking at the Ubisoft forum now, but I did, and it led me here. I was puzzled by this TMO thing that people were discussing. I decided to check it out....
I'm blown away by the effort that people have gone into to turn this from a good, but run of the mill game, into the masterpiece it currently is. I realise that it has its faults, but it remains the best game I've ever spent money on. I just found the thread on how to multi-install and now I seem to have switched sides. I have no idea how swapping a US fleet submarine for a type II U-Boat can be such a rewarding move - but it is :) I wonder how I'll feel if I encounter my Dad's ship - HMS Black Swan......
Anyway. This is my introductory post. Also about my 70th, or thereabouts. Which says a lot about my ability to prioritise. Thanks for all of the good work, and good advice guys:salute:
