Is there someplace in the files that can determine how fast the periscopes can raise and lower?

I don't know, but you can control the movement of the scope, but been so long, can't remember the exact keys, seems pg up and pg dwn, but in that key block. I prefer to move the scope this way when attacking, that way I can lower it just below the water line and in a few seconds get a look and back down just below the water line. It sure beats all that time lowering and raising it all the way.

UPDATE: I found it. Use S3D and go to: Data/Library/USSubParts/Sensors_sub_US.SIM. Click on 12obj_Extensible. 13obj_Extensible will lower. Click on it. You will see ext_time=10.0 Raising the number makes it raise/lower slower. Lowering the number makes it raise/lower faster.

Armistead - It's in the following path: Data/Cfg/Commands. Scroll down to [Cmd120] thru [Cmd124]. You can set it up so your scopes either raise/lower up and down all the way, or press and hold the key listed to raise/lower, then release the key to stop at your desired scope depth.
