255 suspected child predators were arrested recently and 61 children were rescued. Great work by those involved in getting these animals off the street. The type of people arrested included-

"Law enforcement officials announced Monday that a recent five-week sweep snared more than 250 suspected child predators, including nine teachers and three clergymen."

But to show just how sick these clowns are, this is a description of the kids they rescued-

"Twenty-two of the victims were 9 years old or younger -- including four under the age of 3. The remaining 39 children were between the ages of 10 and 17, according to the ICE news release."

Whomever targets kids this young, shouldn't be allowed to live amongst us, or for that matter, shouldn't be allowed to live!:nope: Who ever goes after a 3 year old child, should be put down like a rabid dog!

I agree. However, no doubt there are people out there that condone this criminal activity by defending the rights of the predators. Capital punishment does have its place in maintaining decent society.

Wait, not sure if I understand. You mean like... CP makes a countries society better?

Reinforces my opinion of just how sick sections of society can be :nope:

It could be the answer. For example, one convicted predator executed is one less predator free to commit crimes in society, much more cost effective than keeping them in prison for the tax payer, frees up gaol space for other criminals, and there is 100% certainty that they will not re-offend again in the future. So that example could demonstrate that CP does make society better, or at least safer for children.

Prime candidates for overly aggressive water boarding each and every one of them. Publically popping a cap in their asses would be much more cost effective than prison terms and might work as a deterrent.

Yes, CP does permanently stop someone from comitting a crime ever again - so does locking them up for the rest of their miserable life. Thus, no need to kill them.

More cost effective?
The very opposite (http://www.deathpenalty.org/article.php?id=42) is actually the case. It is much(!) cheeper to keep someone in prison without parole, than have him on death row and executed.

Free up space?
If the USA would execute every person on death row right now, your prisons would still be completely overcrowded (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incarceration_in_the_United_States), it would not change anything at all, so the "free up space" argument is irrelevant.

If CP works so well and makes society better/safer, how comes that the USA is actually the only western country that still uses it and has a totally sick society and overcrowded prisons?

Actually many predators get released from prison because of mandatory minimum sentences(drug convictions).Guess what they do when a prison gets over populated.... they start releasing the inmates that do not have mandatory minimums typically rapists, murders, and child predators.I would rather see the drug offender walk than any of the other three.Of course if we did not have a drug war we would have a lot more room for the truly dangerous people.

I doubt that giving a predator capital punishment will stop any of them cp has not been much of a determinant to people planning on committing murder or any other heinous crimes that one can possibly receive death for but you keep telling yourself that fairy tale.

I don't know the answer on how to stop something like this, we never will. We might arrest 255 of them, but how many more are still out there. Best we can do is to protect our children the best way we can.

I just can't get into the mindset of someone who does this kind of thing- how can kids so young be so enticing, to want to hurt them in that fashion? You can't say their moral compass is out of whack, because I don't believe they have one in the first place. I don't feel sorry for these predators, I could careless about their upbringing. But then again, is their actions a result of how they were brought up, or are they just mentally in a crazy world of their own? Beats the heck out of me , how they could become a predator, but I can't figure out how people become serial killers or rapists either.

In the book "what cops know", the author quoted several detectives when they said that "everyone knows a pedophile, they just don't know they are a pedophile. It is that rampant in our society."

Yikes!

The best friend and business partner for over 30 years of my father is now in a NY prison on child molestation charges (as in plural). There was nothing in this man's life that would have indicated any such problems. I grew up with this guy. He used to come over to our house and we over to his house all the time. He was the stereotype American Businessman. He eventually got caught and will spend the rest of his life in prison, if he is not already dead.

You truly can't tell who is or is not a pedo. :nope:. It was a total shock to us. :yep:

There was a predator arrested a while back who was just given a 120 year sentence in prison in my area. :yeah:

These people are just sick.

You want to see something interesting and frightening? This is the National Sex Offender Public Website (http://www.nsopw.gov/en-us/Search/Verification).

Type in your location and see how many are living in your immediate area. Though this includes other types of Sex Crimes besides Child Molestation, but it's still a sobering experience.

Typed in my location...nothing within 3 miles but there are 6 in a town not far from here.

I'm not worried. I'm not an easy target and I would most certainly fight back.

But that website...I type in my location and damn Chrome autofill puts in my name and all my other information into the search... I almost hit search...but I caught it. :dead:
