WTF is... Papers, please? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brTJzrXQVLU)
I like it for being something totally different. May be a nice time killer as well and, for now, free to play.

I played through the beta, which covers 9 days ingame.
It is indeed deeper and more challenging as it first seems to be. The player is facing some heavy decisions - that will have consequences. For example, one day a girl gave me a letter, begging me to not let a certain guy into the country, she was afraid he might take her passport away and force her into prostitution or something.
As he approached later to enter the glorious country of Arztotka - or whatever that crazy place is called - I let him in, cause errors cost you 5 credits. Precious credits you need to feed your family, pay rent, pay for heating and medicine if someone in the family is sick.
A day later, the newspaper reported a young girl being found dead at a strip club (it was her...)
That made me feel quite guilty :-?
Seriously, this game is great! :)

Aye, it's a lot deeper then I gave it first credit for after playing the first 3 days in-game.
with some fokes you just raise your eyebrow, somethings up with this guy put can't just put my finger on it...and then you do let him through and he happens to be some crazy terrorist :dead:

They need to do the Raptor edition where you just gun down everyone at the border.

Was pretty impressed with the beta as well. The pressure at the end became too much for me though, so much to check but you need to bloody hurry if you want to make enough cash. So many mistakes.
That guy that keeps coming back is pretty funny, 2nd time I saw him he presented a hand-drawn passport. :haha:
Seems like a great game, I played the beta to the end two times now. The maker of this game seems to have a great thing going on, music, graphics, everything is just perfect!
Must buy this when it comes out (8.8.)! Glory to Arstotzka!

Hey, nobody's linked the game's homepage: www.papersplea.se/ (http://www.papersplea.se/)
Tip for Euros: When buying through the humble store, you not only leave more share to the author, but it is also cheaper than buying from Steam. I paid 7,77€ (the nice sum might be paypal's currency conversion); Steam lists the game for 8.99€.
Steam keys are also included in the Humble Store/GOG versions.
I'm very happy that the full game includes a sandbox mode. The normal game goes over the course of 31 days and includes 20 different endings. :yeah:
According to Pope's Twitter, the game isn't released until noon Central European time on GOG, the Steam and Humble versions are released at 10am PST (19h CEST) - no midnight passport stamping for us. :wah:
