Will Murray win this year?

He is one set up in a best of five.

More importantly, will he be known as a useless Scot or a Great Brit at the end? :)

Tennis is for sissies.

A "sissy" being anybody young enough and strong enough to do things I could never do even when I was younger and stronger. There seem to be more and more of them in the world these days.

The US have probably had more Wimbledon champions than any other country.

Oh and Murray is winning by two sets to nil.

Andrew Barron "Andy" Murray, OBE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_British_Empire) (born 15 May 1987) is a Scottish (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_people) professional tennis player (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_player),

...more fallout from the Snowden leaks.

I can see why you sent him to the prison colony. Christ, could you imagine him loose on the streets of London. Just imagine what would happen if he encountered Steed.:o

Poor Steed.

I don't care where he's from, I don't like the guy. With that in mind I support him as much as he supports the England footy team.

It's definitely not an anti - jock thing as I truly hope Paul di Resta wins some F1 races and becomes world champion.

Actually it's quite surprising how many people around these parts feel similarly...some comments follow one to the grave :yep:

After all this time Andy Murray has done it!

He's proved a Scottish man in shorts can stand in the sun for 4 hours without getting sunburned

Andy Murray became the first British player to win the Wimbledon title since Fred Perry in 1936.

Lots of celebrities cheered him on including Mick Jagger, Anne Robinson and Bruce Forsyth.

Although sadly they couldn't do the same for Andy Murray.

David Cameron has said that no one deserves a knighthood more than Andy Murray.

Who knew Murray had donated to the Tory party?
