GWX mod step by step

Does anyone know if theres a step by step manual on how to download and update SH3 with the GWX 3.0 mod .... I downloaded the GWX mod and it begins an auto update but stops and asks me to put in disk 7???:huh: Any help would be cool... Thanks I am a noob when it comes to this stuff

starting on page 272 of this thread there is all kinds of info.I'm kind of new at this too,but managed to install.Basically download the 7 bin files+the exe.file,and put it in one folder.Then click on the exe.file and it should run the install wizard.Make sure you have a fresh install of sh3,and updated to 1.4.There should be others here to help,if I forgot something.Good luck and enjoy.

Also know that the installer will want to install the GWX files in the default location for the game installation - but many people these days don't have the game installed in that location due to later versions of Windows not wanting to let you modify files in the C:\Programs directory, and also because a lot of people get the game through Steam which installs it in the Steam directory instead.

There is an option in the GWX installation process where you can let it install itself in the default location, or Browse to pick the directory where your game files are. So pay attention at that point and make sure the installer is directed to the folder where the game files are on your system. :up:
