Charged with First degree murder and held without bail, stupidity at its finest! Had a good career going with the Patriots, just got a new $40 Million dollar contract, but has been released from the Patriots. But the prison system will pick up his contract, probably for life, but doubt he will get paid as well, lol

Wonder how he feels about his "Gangsta" image now!?! What a loser he has turned out to be.

Knucklehead. Apparently a lot of teams had taken them off of their draft boards back in 2010 when he came out of college due to drug issues and possible gang ties. Looks like they had it right.

An absolute knucklehead. I'll never understand how someone with that kind of talent and opportunity can just throw it away over something stupid.

I guess you can take the boy out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of the boy.:nope:
I'd wager that he's having second thoughts about installing that security system at his home.
What really concerns me is the public crucifixion of high profile people in the media these days. How in the hell can anyone get a fair trial when they get tried in the court of public opinion first?
As soon as this story broke on the wires, the guy was automatically judged guilty as charged and the populace began screaming for the logs and nails.
Who brought the post hole digger and the hammer?:hmmm:

Innocent until proven guilty. However, circumstance do not make things look favorable for Hernandez.

What about OJ, exception to the rule?

The glove did not fit. Need to acquit.

The LA riots saved his behind there was fear things might pop off again if he was charged. Also he had money and very very good lawyers that goes a long way.But the fear of more riots was most certainly a factor of this I have no doubt.

No one has ever made the claim that professional sports players are smart nor even good people.

All your opinion. The only fact you or I know is that the jury's verdict was "Not guilty". Whatever circumstances you want to believe are only beliefs. You may have no doubt, but your opinions mean no more than mine do.

My feelings exactly.

OTOH, I think he is smart enough to be a Chicago alderman, or perhaps run for congress.

OJ beat the rap not because the jury was scared of riots. He beat the rap simply because his legal dream team out lawyer-ed an inept prosecution. Like the world series champs versus a bush-league club.

I would agree with that.

The prosecution must prove guilt, to a jury, beyond the jury's reasonable doubt. In the OJ case, the prosecution failed.

The OJ case saddens me, not because of the verdict, but because it is a clear indication that if you have enough money, you can hire a large enough defense team that can confuse the issue. Justice should not be based on credit rating, but sadly, in some cases, it appears to be.

I hope not but it might go that way in this case too. The Patriots still owe him $5 million and that kind of money can buy a pretty good legal team.

It didn't take them long to find a half dozen more unsolved crimes to pin on the guy.:nope: I hope they have more than circumstantial evidence. But, if he's a gang banger, he was probably involved in many more crimes than what has been reported so far. Now all his dealings will be put under a microscope.
