Hi all,

I seem to be having issues with my boats gun crews. They are objecting to getting their feet a little wet. Nothing to do with bad weather, but the depth at which the boat transitions from surfaced state to submerged state.

The submerged state seems to kick in when the depth passes 6m.

This is unfortunate, as the boat seems to 'wallow' just beyond that depth point when stationary/one-third bell in otherwise perfect weather a gun action.

Is there an easy parameter to set in a .cfg file somewhere to move this state border to 6.5 or 7 m so that my gunners stay at their posts reliably?

Cheers in advance...

try doing your own shooting and the same happens as the deck is underwater preventing a discharge of the weapon. VIIB are poor at freeboard and don't hold awash well as VIIC as evidenced by the compressed air releases to maintain the depth setting. some added speed will stabilize this problem. SHIFT-U to return to the bridge swiftly. Added bonus is shell savings as AI crew is inaccurate I sink more with the gun including eel- cripples than with eels; especially cimmaron tankers. One ship one eel!.:arrgh!:
