Hi,

Where do I start...there is sooo much information it's overwhelming and I've been reading through alot of it... but I haven't found my question yet... How do I manually use the station to the left of the radio room? I can't seem to turn the dial. If it's easier to send answers through email please do not hesitate.

If you mean hydro station - click on it then use mouse-wheel to rotate the needle..

i know how you feel man, when i first began this whole thing i was overwhelmed as well ... good place to start with is reading up on the mods and how to install them as without them the game is pretty broken and unplayable,

next id look at the tutorials from stonianm he has some prett ynice informitive stuff posted and is a huge help. It takes a fair bit of reading but once u get ur head around it the game itself is really immersive and enjoyable...once u get all the frustration out of the way lol...

Thank you for the link...I'm not 'new' to applying mods it just seems some of them are really involved. Do I do this one over this one or vice versa... when I enable one it tells me it's over writing something of another.... I see the Lists of what to load first and such but I still get those overwriting warnings in JSME.

But before you respond to that... answer this please...does the Mods folder go in documents/sh5/mods or in install dir /mods ... which I think I had to create....

No the MODS folder goes in your SH5 root main folder, not in documents.
Using JSGME for first time, it should ask you where to install it...just type the right path to your SH5 main folder.

ok thanks... I ask cause for other games..IE... Euro Truck Simulator 2 .. the mods folder is in the documents folder and is there on installation. Which I hate cause I try to keep 20 gig free on hard drive and those mods add up after awhile :)

oh on a side note... if anyone has been playing EvE-online for 3-4 years now and have never ever cleaned out your txt file folders .... you can save about 50 gig :har:

I was wondering is there a Common ts3 or vent server that people can join to chat about things? IE... how do i do....yada yada and such? not so much about how to play the game more or less about.. why can't I get "this' to work? Although the tutorials are in depth it seems it's not clicking for some reason.. i'm having a hard time getting this mod to show up all the nifty tools and stuff. I think maybe.....well i'm pretty sure it's user error....bleh i'm just rambling now :/\\!!

oh man lol if it wasnt for the kind efforts of sober, trevally, TDW id still be lost when it came to the mods... glad to see ur getting sorted tho... as for a TS3 or something...as far as i know there is nothing, i was actually thinking bout doing something like that but i dont want to take away anything from these forums as its a nice thriving helpful community still. SH5 is def worth it once u get things up and running properly... oh and i dunno if u know this or not cause i didnt... but when your playing with the mods...make sure you dont add them while your at sea lol or overwrite your save games...causes issues....best of luck moving forward.
