SH4 Help - No clue how to install a mod - No clue which mod to install for SH4 either

I just want to make the game environment look better. Nothing complicated. If someone could tell me step by step what to do it would be awesome.

I don't know my way around Subsim.com .... I have a tough time even finding my posts.

Trust me, once you learn the process(fairly easy) you will want much more than to just change the environment. SH 4 out of the box, sucks for lack of a better term.However, the mods have made it a top notch sub sim.

All the latest mods are made for v1.5 of the game. If you don't already have it, I'd get the 1.5 version; ideally the "Gold Edition" on disc.
