I've seen these before but on the Military channel on directv great documentary series, it took a lot of guts to be on a U-Boat but it took some big 1's to work on those merchant ships, knowing your traveling in some of the nastiest waters on Earth an that at any minute you could be abandoning ship into the cold dark atlantic gives me shivers

I still havenīt seen the last one myself. Maybe this evening. They are truly great. I concur with the comment by Packlife: the men involved in this drama experienced some terrible, life-striking moments. May we be wise enough to never ever get involved in that kind of situation.
Itīs ok just as a game

you said it Frank as a game its ok, 1 of my grandpas served in the Navy during WW2 and his greatest fear was being sunk by a Sub, an that he would of rather of went lights out instantly than to of had to get into 1 of those lifeboats an pray some one found them in time. And yeah hopefully we are wise enough to never get into a situation like that again, but more than likely if the world did get into a 3rd world war it would definitely be the one to end all wars a nuclear one, that's what my uncle says an he's one of the main people who helped build the nuclear subs an helped change the old subs into nuclear ones also during the 80's an 90's

...war is continuous, war is all the time - war never stops.
