any battleship mod?

hi all.i was just wondering if there is a mod that allows you to get rid of this small u boat and get in control of a big battleship.i searched in google for a mod like this and i didn't found anything.i would love to create a mod like this but i found it hard to install a mod.... imagine how hard it could be to create one.also i don't know scripting.so does anyone knows if there is a mod to control a battleship or a warship? (also how can i change the type of the u-boat? cause in the historical missions there is a better one than the original) peace out there :subsim:

Sadly, no.

This is quite a big ask for a game like Silent Hunter 5.

I'm not sure it could be done either.

Maybe in time though, if a project like this begins, I'll gladly help.

I believe some of the modders may have cooked something like that up for SH 3 or 4, you might want to head over there and check those subforums until you track down what you're looking for. :)
