Did AOD have screen shake

The way I remember it, the screen would shake when being depthcharged, similar to silent hunter I. But, last time I pulled it out, no screen shake. Is it some kind of an option, or am I just projecting my modern fantasies onto the time-tested game.

I haven't played an actual patrol in awhile, so I could be wrong, but I don't think AOD was ever that sophisticated. I guess I have to play for a bit now. On the other hand, maybe this time the depth charges just weren't close enough to shake you.
