The Patria affair was an arms deal gone wrong, when signs of corruption and clientelism were surfaced, that top brass and goverment officials were bribed to select the Finnish Patria proposal, which was more expensive and later plagued by design and equipement inefficiencies. Despite there was a cheaper, home-built offer.

Jansa received 2 years and €37 000 fine, Krkovic and Crkovic received both 22 months and the same €37 000 fine.

Oponents and supporters of Jansa were besieging the courthouse

My opinion ??
Crknovic and Krkovic were greedy little pawns and should get a fine worth the money they received and a few more years and Jansa should be hanged
