The UK population must be encouraged to eat less meat "over time" in an effort to make the global food supply more sustainable, MPs have said.

Roll over America, BossMark is about to put us at the top of the leaders board. :har:

More seriours note- The International Development Committee would be better off spelling out why 500,000 people are now using food banks.

And the way things are going that 500,000 is going to get a lot higher.

Okay, so we have the Brits solving the food crisis, Germany will take care of the energy crisis, Sweden pacifies the ME crisis, but we have nobody solving the CO2 crisis. Somebody volunteering for solving the CO2 issue so that we have saved the Earth and can be early for dinner? Island maybe?

We'll do it. We have 60% land coverage with forrests. Should be a piece of cake

The global demand for meat is growing, with China more than doubling its consumption per person since 1985.

This is where the problem lies, over 1 billion potential veggies turned bad. Maybe I will do my bit and just stop eating Chinese takeaways instead.

What next, EU tells us to stop having pets to help feed the third world. Although the neighbour's cat that keeps crapping in my vegetable patch is the first on my list for the Chinaman's cooking pot! :D

"The scoops are on there way".

Just roll them into a vat down a large slide, let gravity do the work and no heavy lifting required. Simples

There was one crackpot that suggested we kill all our dogs so there will be less livestock, that's procesed into dog food, polluting our atmosphere. I'd like to process this guy into compost

A dog is a loyal friend and companion, part of the family, a good listener, and more. A dog is a pet and/or working animal, not a meal.

Crosman could just put it all in those little CO2 cylinders, or has the EU banned pellet rifles? :D
