The US rock star Jon Bon Jovi has revealed that his band have waived their fee at a concert in Madrid next month, given Spain's economic crisis.

That is a good Jersey boy, he is always cool like that.

I can go on with the things he helped with, just in my state alone, he really is not your typical musician.

Not a fan of his music, but he really is a good guy, I can go on and on with his merits as a human being.

That kindness comes out of his pocket, in the end, and not the first time he did such a thing.

Waiving their fee means that the event organizers don't have to pay the band their fee. Does that mean that the event organizers lowered the cost of the ticket? With event organizers, you can't always assume.
