^ Me. My father once told me about that, and i recently learned about today's Meth in a seminar. German pilots in WW2 used it to some extent, and some too much of it. Then there was Vietnam. The US fliers of today also have 'official' drugs.
There is also the less health-damaging 'flyer's chocolate' Schoka-Cola, made in 1935: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scho-Ka-Kola

I would not even dare to mention Scho-ka-kola in this context, it is nothing: a bit of chocolate with a cup of coffee at best.

It's to be had in many if not most ordinary supermarkets. No drug at all, I'd say.

Scho-Ka-Kola is awesome on a long drive.:yep:
It gives you some energy in form of calories and some caffeine to stay awake.

I've read about this before but never remembered its name.

Sitting in a winter trench on the eastern front must have required quite a supply.

Yes, I was aware of the use during WWII. I knew a guy that was using something very similar. He was highly alert, but also very addicted.

^ No, we were not the first, and not the only one.
Besides there is a time, before Hitler :03:
