Once again a depth charge ended my promising career in GWX :dead: I thought about trying something different, a XXIII boat. Read through the GWX docs and found it was not a playable sub, but on doing a forum search I found the following thread :

Jimabuna thank you for this cool little XXIII mod for GWX....looking forward to a career in this little super duck. This should be quite a challenge to play.

Thank you from me to Jimbuana:up: I have just downloaded this boat, but have not installed it yet. I will save it for when I decide to have a try with it, later in my Career and substitute it for the type XX1, if I ever get that far. If not I will start a new career from 1944 so I can use it,

Your welcome...tis good to know people are still using the mod.
Remember though...they carried no reloads and were used for coastal raids usually so the patrols were relatively short in duration.

In that case, I will try and sneak into a harbour and use what torpedoes I have, unless I just happen to come across a coastal freighter, just happily trundling somewhere near the coast. lol.
