Wow, three days of riots in response to Swedish racism culminating in a police shooting of an innocent immigrant.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22622909
The shooting can not be held responsible because they burn cars and disturb the regular order, and besides, it was not racism behind this, which is now.

An investigation is under way into the shooting of a man, 69, last Monday after police were called out to a home in Husby where the man was allegedly brandishing a machete.
Police say they tried unsuccessfully to negotiate with the man after learning a woman was inside the flat along with him. They then stormed the flat.
Drastic, could have been handled better but justifiable I say.
Never bring a sword to a gunfight one might say.
The "innocent immigrant" who threatened to kill policemen with a machete ?
...More than 80% of Husby's 12,000 or so inhabitants are from an immigrant background, and most are from Turkey, the Middle East and Somalia ...Maybe the key of the problem ...
...On Sunday night, more than 100 cars were set alight, Swedish media report ...How many cars were set alight, when there was ONLY Swedish people in this suburb ?
Yes, to restore the order, a little police "brutality" is necessary : Dura lex, sed lex !
Cheers.

I wouldn't call someone with an machete innocent.
Now it has not gone to the media has written about, the man was given probably armed, but that it then degenerated has no relation to the man who some revenge, this is a social problem with integration and refractions as a result.

Swedes allowed them in and poked pencils in their own eyes to not see whom they let in. Things move on in the forseeable paths, therefore. Same in Britain, Netherlands. With Germany and France and other countries to follow.
In a hundred years, the majority religion in Europe will not be Christianity anymore.
Multiculti and melting pots work when combining some, certain, matching cultures, history shows examples of some surprisingly well-working examples. But it does not work with just any combination. It's like cooking. You combine certain ingredients to make a meal, and you use certain herbs only to turn a good meal into a better meal. But if you throw just everything there is into the same pot, all you get is an emetic.

"Cultural enrichment", I like that.
We could take the high road and assume the media's usual stance, blame it on just a few rabble rousers and forget about it by tomorrow. Or the other option is we all hop on the bandwagon and support the these students risking their lives fighting against an oppressive police state and monarchy.
We must be careful though to ignore the obvious and hope it goes away real soon. Which is why I thought it would be politically correct to blame it on police brutality.

Is there a personal attack?
I just question how someone who complains that Germany is a christian nation which they are "forced" to live with can complain about the ongoing decline of christianity in europe.

I'm not referring to anything or anyone in particular but previous instances on numerous threads have led to acrimony so I'm appealing to every contributor, especially in GT to observe and adhere to the site forum rules as well as the forum owners wishes on said behaviour.
Clear breaches will be dealt with in accordance with the above as well as patterns that can be reasonably interpreted as 'pushing the boundaries'.

A small update from Sweden
More immigrant dominated Stockholm suburbs are burning tonight and fire men and rescue personnel are being attacked (as usual, I'm afraid). The fire brigade has told the press that they have to leave some fires burning because of the attacks against their personnel.
Some cars are burning in Malmö (in southern Sweden) too, but so far there are no reports of full scale riots there.
The press cites high unemployment rates and a dismal looking future as the main causes for these events. However, Värmland, Dalarna, Norrland etc also suffer from high unemployment with little hopes of future improvement, but the people there, who are ethnically Swedish, have not set fire to their cities or attacked rescue personnel. So, unemployment is not the cause of the riots.
(I used to be sarcastical against people who voted for the immigration critical Sweden Democrats. I deeply apologize for this. These events and those in 2010 have served me the humble pie. Now I fully understand everyone who voted for SD.)
edit: Just as I hit the Post button, I hear this from the expressen.se live stream:
- 3 more suburbs are burning
- a school has been torched
- fire and rescue personnel are retreating from several fires due to attacks
- urban transit system is shut down due to attacks
- while the on site reporter talks, someone behind the him shouts "Allahu akbar!" and throws a bomb that sets fire to a car
- the national broadcast's (SVT) car has been destroyed

No, not usually. But right now, I'm inclined to think that arab mentality is the sole cause. I'm not thinking straight though, because I'm totally furious about people coming to my country by invitation from our government, getting homes, food, education and health care for free, getting permission to build mosques and noisy minaret towers - and thanking us by setting our country on fire and blaming us for provoking them to do it.
Of course, there are more causes. But there are many Swedes that suffer rough times, and they don't attack the society they live in. So, culture has a lot to do with it.

Swedes are the same as any other nationality, on occasion they riot.

As I wrote, arab mentality isn't the only cause. As I also wrote, that was how the live feed made me feel.
In this particular case, I haven't read anything about whether Kurds are involved or not. As for blacks, if Google translate can do a decent job of translating http://www.gp.se/nyheter/goteborg/1.115816-28-10-07-goteborgs-somalier-ett-folk-i-kris, you can see what kind of problems we have with Somali violence.
Swedes are the same as any other nationality, on occasion they riot.
On very rare occasions. The last time was during the EU summit in 2001, when an international mob of left wingers including Swedes attacked Gothenburg. But note that not even then were rescue personnel attacked. I just wonder, who sick does anyone have be in order to attack a fire fighter or an ambulance driver?

The way the police are handling this situation with complete apathy and inaction is disgusting. They have the legal means to reinstate order up to and including use of lethal force but they're not even arresting anyone. It's absolutely pathetic.
Can't blame them, though. Last time there were riots in Malmö with muslim gangs shooting peoples dogs, torching cars and forcing civilians at gunpoint (because yay gun control laws) to throw rocks on the police the media focused all their energy on drumming up a hate campaign to paint the police as racist thugs in order to discredit them.
But this is a country where 90% of the population are brainwashed leftist sheep who believe everything the communist media says even when the journalists openly admit they are selectively reporting on issues that push their own agenda.

The legal requirements for buying a gun are actually rather strict, but the guns in the suburbs aren't bought the legal way. Most of them originate from the Balkan wars, so CZ's are commonly used in the Gothenburg shootouts. So far, guns seems to be used by those who have climbed a few steps on the gangster corporate ladder. Street robbers and gang rapists usually make do with knifes or basaball bats.
But this is a country where 90% of the population are brainwashed leftist sheep who believe everything the communist media says even when the journalists openly admit they are selectively reporting on issues that push their own agenda.
Yes, the media coverup has been effective. I believed them too, until last summer when the shootings here in Gothenburg escalated to Malmö-levels. There are a few sites where official police documents are scanned and published, and when 9 out of 10 of the involved are named Al-Khaleed, Abdullah or Mohammed, well ... you do the math. In Denmark and Norway, the press will not hide the criminals origin, but in Sweden we are sooo politically correct.
14 suburbs burned last night and the media is still trying to put part of the blame on the police for being too harsh and racist. In a recent poll, only 24% of the Swedes said that they trust journalists and the major newspapers are losing about 10% of their readers each year.
It's correct, we have, as many other countries, problems with some of our foreigners. It's also correct that we have some kind of censorship regarding our immigration policy
But and it's very important that we doesn't generalizes. Most of them, so even the Muslims do behave. their work, they pay their taxes a.s.o

My condolences, but how about these....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amadou_Diallo_shooting
Filled with lead for simply trying to produce his ID.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abner_Louima
Sodomized with a plunger in the station house, another black immigrant, see a trend yet?
Both (officers involved in abuses in each case) got off somewhat scot free. Suspended with pay is such a bad punishment, in my world it is called a payed vacation, in police-land it is a punishment.
The swedes do not hold a monopoly on brutality, I am pretty sure the NYPD taught your guys everything they know
Love that big Blue Corrupt wall, and how they shield crimes from public attention the best they could, making real (peace loving) Officers of the law look bad.

Amadou Diallo.
Shot 19 times out of 41 shots fired by officers, he was producing the ID, they asked for before opening fire, no convictions on the officers.
Abner Louima
Sodomized with a plunger by NYPD.
Won a lawsuit, but no wrongdoing admitted by the department as part of the plea bargain.
Sean Bell.
Shot at 50 times by multiple cops, unarmed of course, and once again in the city of New York.
I am sorry, and will catch crap for this, but you reap what you sow.
At least in the case of NYC PD, the police are repugnant, and the only thing that separates them from criminals is the badge and legal firearms. (try owning a handgun in NYC)
Even the Rodney King beaters got off, so it is not localized to NYC, but a part of our institutional sickness, where cronyism outdoes right, and justice , all day, every day.

Yes, your policy is much more effecient than ours.
A Swedish example: the 16-year olds Diar Mahmoud and Hasan Kibar assault a pensioner in Kortedala, Gothenburg, punching him until he falls and showering him with kicks while he's lying down. The pensioner has become blind on one eye and suffers from memory loss from brain damage caused by the assault. Kibar and Mahmoud receives a sentence of 140 hours community service (http://www.gp.se/nyheter/goteborg/1.1269004-cedvander-jag-tycker-det-ar-konstigt-).
A Danish example: Three 16-year-olds rob a 15 year-old, taking his phone (http://www.sydsvenskan.se/varlden/danskar-chockas-av-malmos-ransiffror/). Two of the robbers get 6 months imprisonment, the 3rd one gets 2,5 years in prison, and will be kicked out of the country and is banned from Denmark for life.
The result? When Malmö had >900 robberies, Copenhagen had only 400. And Malmö has a population of only 330000, less than half the population of Copenhagen.
The article about Malmö vs Copenhagen also states that 79% of Copenhagen's youth criminals are immigrants. Statistics for Sweden are kept secret (guess what that means...). So, the majority of immigrants aren't criminals, but the majority of criminals are immigrants.

B) business as normal.

Please confirm me only this: a newspaper here reported that the person shoot by the sweden police was portuguese, named Lenine Relvas-Martins (:haha:), emigrant and living in Sweden since 1975!

Very sad times indeed.
I've always despised political correctness and all the virtue words that are used to try and make it sound better when it shouldn't, its a very annoying form of propaganda. It really gets on my nerves how incredibly sensitive people act (yes, act) to further their ideas. When the illegal immigrants began pouring into this country, and were being labeled correctly as illegal immigrants, they tried to omit the truth in the label by saying "undocumented". You aren't undocumented, because that would imply that you've already begun the process of becoming a citizen or have already gone through the process and are waiting on documentation, when instead many are just coming, illegally, and not attempting to gain citizenship.
Political correctness is revolting and sad for such a "liberated media", one thats supposed to be the most open media in modern times, when really they curtail so readily to societal discomfort and political correctness.

That's what leftist liberals do in America - they create social disorder and civil unrest to grow the size of government to tyrannical proportions to handle these problems it created. Then the government comes in and pours fuel on the fire to make matters worse thereby validating itself as needing to grow even more to get control over the issue(s). Leftist liberals do this because they trust government and feel safe having a big government controlling the population. Conservative governments look to shrink the size of government and to allow the people to govern themselves on a much smaller scale which gives people the sense they have control over the federal government. The people of America didn't want Obamacare. It was rejected but that wicked witch from the west, Nancy Pelosi, flew on her broom to D.C. to ram it down America's throat - not knowing what the hell was even in the bill. Now it's become law and most still don't have a clue what's in the bill and all Obama can say is we will deal with the issues as they arise. Well that's too late bozo - especially when someone's a cancer patient with a few months to live and doesn't have time for Washington to fart around with correcting the problems in the bill. But does Obama care about that? Nope. He only cares that 30 million deadbeats and illegals in America have access to free medical care at the cost of the tax payers.
