That's too bad. I had no idea he was that old. I was a fan of The Doors' first album almost from the day it was released.

[edit] I'd ask Jim to fix the title for you. His name ends in 'k', not 'n'. :sunny:

RIP to one of the best keyboardists of the generation.

Truly one of the harder instruments to play, for real. Most musicians will tell you, a keyboardist is hard to find (in those days), and a great one, well you get my drift, no need to sling around a cliche'.

I read some unflattering things about Ray and Krieger in John Densmores book, and it kinda bugs me a little. Great talent lost, but a money grubbing scumbag in the end.

I am torn, as musically, he was awesome, as a human being, especially last few years, not so much. Someone likes suing his old bandmembers, and the parents of Morrison, because they turned down selling a song to some car company for a commercial.

The album "Waiting for the Sun" was my introduction to The Doors. RIP Ray.

I was a big fan when they first came on the scene. Didn't care to much for Morrison, but the band was unique and quite different from the other bands at that time.

R.I.P. Ray. Break on Through.
