FBI seeks source of prostitution, corruption allegations against Sen. Robert Menendez

A pair of FBI agents met on a recent weekday morning with brothers Alfonso “Alfy” and Jose “Pepe” Fanjul in the Palm Beach headquarters of their sugar and real estate empire.

The investigators’ questions struck a discordant note in the Fanjuls’ sunlit offices overlooking a yacht-filled waterway, according to three people familiar with the meeting: Were the brothers or any of their associates familiar with a plot to bring down a United States senator?

As a (derogatory) "lib" , I am not in shock.

Jersey Democrats are horrid folks, Jon Corzine (wall street genius, turned Gov), lost a few hundred million dollars of other peoples money, and just shrugged, and faces zero accountability.

I can assure you, this is not the first scandal this Menendez had his fingers in.

Oh if you lived here in Jersey and followed things like I did.

First of all he is a DINO, second a heavily funded Wall Street shill. He is more slightly to the right of center.

And that is before the usual Jersey politics....

I would so move out if my house was not paid off, and half the value it was when I bought it, our property taxes are oppressive. Funny how my taxes never dropped with my home price, right? Always a "fee"
