What's all this about?
The news in the UK is all over this...potentially quite embarrassing if true but this is probably just simply the case of being the latest episode in spying between the two countries for decades now and the UK will be no different.
Russia says it will expel a US diplomat briefly detained in Moscow for allegedly trying to recruit a Russian intelligence officer as a spy.
The diplomat, named as CIA agent Ryan Fogle, was held overnight after he was apparently arrested wearing blond wig.

It happens. Being a credentialed diplomat, he will be declared PNG and sent home.
Probably won't look good on his performance report though. :nope:

Persona non grata, Latin for "person not welcome". It is used officially for a diplomat rejected by the host government, and unofficially for anyone who is shunned or ignored.

Spy exchanges happen alot more than we are told.
Russia and America are used to this game, after all these years.
I mean, we always had such an endearing relationship.:)
And still do *chokes back laughter*

Russia has named the alleged US intelligence chief in Moscow - a move seen as breaching diplomatic protocol.
It follows Moscow's decision to expel US diplomat Ryan Fogle, who was accused of trying to recruit a Russian intelligence officer as a spy.
