I am SOOOOO jealous, the Boss is (was) the greatest of them all. Now, if he can stick to singing his incredible songs and off of his pitiful politics, it should be a great show.

Im just hoping he will sing some of the old stuff as well.

Congratulations and good luck. Being a (former) New Jerseyan, I've been a big fan of The Boss since his "Born To Run" LP.

I wonder if he can still put on 3+ hour shows without a break.

Saw him in 1985(?) during the Born in the USA Tour. One of the best concerts I've ever seen.

It'll be okay Betonov... There there...

Just as long as nobody goes to an Eric Church or Florida Georgia Line concert... :o

And as a special treat they played the entire Born to run album B-)

Wow, if he's playing the full B2R album on stage, I might actually go see him.

Don't bet on it. He said they tried to make the different concerts different.

But why wouldn't you go?

I saw him on the "Born in the USA" tour... at the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago ....no idea what year it was...

I do remember however...that it was a fantastic evening... even tho there was so much smoke in the air that you could barely see him. I think the Rosemont went No Smoking after that concert.

Wait,what,,,,was that Shargie? :yeah:

Im still impressed with his ability to make 40.000 people sing and at the same time turn a stadium into a intimate concert.

He still connects with the crowd in an amazing way and goes down to touch, sing and drink with them.
He took a huge glass of beer of one in the crowd and downed it...what a show.

I dont see any of the newer names in pop or rock connect that way with the fans. It all seems to be a show and a "im up here and you are down there" feeling.

As a Jersey boy, who came up in the same area Bruce did, it warms my heart to see people from all over that apprecaite his music.
He worked hard for his fame, and when he became a legend he never forgot his home, and the fine people of NJ who boosted him. He always did right by us.

Bruce is a portal into my childhood, I always loved his music.

I got to see him in concert a few times, and he rocked the house.

I am a heavy metal kinda guy at heart, but Bruce killed!

He can play the crowd well, and puts on a hell of a show.

RIP Clarence, you made the band.:salute:
No one else could make a sax solo cool...You had to see it live to appreciate it.

(edit: one of Bruces bandmates is Steve Van Zandt, who plays a major role in the Sopranos, as Silvio.)

The guy surrounded himself with talent
