"Omar Borkan Al Gala, a smouldering poet, actor, and photographer from Dubai, is rumoured to be one third of the chiselled trio that was deported by Saudi authorities who feared that they would prove irresistible to the Kingdom's women."
:haha::haha:

I reckon we, the modest ones, will have a few good laughs before this thread is done :D

And I know that guy, he's mine less good looking brother

Well, if someone's gonna be deported from a country because he's so hot that they're afraid women will lose their minds over him, then... yeah.

It's not that he's not "good looking" by popular standards, it's just that I don't see anything so uniquely outstanding there to warrant the alleged reaction. Hard to tell from just pictures, though, maybe it's his manner or voice or the things he says along with his looks. Regarding just his looks, though, they don't really do anything special for me personally.

He looks like a young Billy Zane.

I used to have a friend who didn't look exactly like Tom Selleck, but he had the same sort of image and aura about him, and we were constantly telling apologetic waitresses "It's okay, we're used to being ignored." Pete and I were both divorced about the same time, and another friend had just broken up with his girlfriend. Bob and I were both complaining about how awful life was, when Pete showed up. He was complaining too. Seems he had been on a date and when they got back to his place another recent date and his ex-wife were there, and it turned into a three-way fight over who was staying and who was leaving. When Pete left the room Bob said "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?".

"Can we kill him and not get caught? Yeah."

The point of this is that there was one woman we knew who was happily married to a large but rather dumpy fella, and after all the stories she had heard about Pretty Pete she finally met him. Her reaction? "Meh."

Pete at 60:

...and we can't even deport a border jumper.

I bet some angry jealous moozy man, noticed his slave wifes vagina was moister after watching a TV show than it is when he sleeps with her, and got butthurt.

And with the sheer misynogy of Islam, and the fact that wives in those countries are less than Americas Negro slaves in the 1800s, well this is the outcome.:shifty:

I do not understand why so many humans (of all religions in general) are so prone to radical beliefs. :06:

Well going by that haircut and the glazed look...could be the one every village is looking for :)

Hey! She was great in that one episode of Robin Of Sherwood! And she did a Doctor Who and some other stuff. And she's a real-life Countess to boot! :O:

So, you're not looking on SubSim, then.

I'm not looking anywhere at the moment. I'm just gonna get a cat instead. They're cheaper and a lot more self-sufficient.

Of course they also leave hair everywhere and might scratch up your furniture when you're not looking, but I could say the same about most of the men I've known. :O:

Do what I do, I put my clothes on and go home.....Why let them know where you live?

Edit: Btw, if you are at a hotel, empty the minibar into your purse while they are still sleeping on in the shower...and get the h*ll out of there.

I think she's talking about someone who'd be wearing pants to begin with. So no, nobody from subsim. :O:

I don't know about that, my roommate's cat is the most insecure thing I've ever met. Gets all freaky when everyone has been gone. Also will not stay still when wanting attention and will regularly make you move by standing just out of arm's reach.

Oh wait that reminds me of the guy from the first post :woot:

Seriously he is just some shallow pretty boy (who's poetry is abhorrent).

This cracks me up.

In my younger days, I had friends who were older than I was take me under their wing. One was a rather tubby fellow, but he was so smooth in his talk, but he struggled at opening. Another friend was the kind of guy who could walk into a club and every girl in the place would just stop and look for about 3-4 seconds. Thing is - he was really not "there" when it came to talking to ladies.

As best friends, they went everywhere together. Rob would get the girls looking, LJ would talk the smack. While I don't have quite the looks that Rob did back then, I still garner glances and second looks. I learned how to talk the talk as well.

Funny thing is - it used to be a game to play. Now that I am older, raising 2 kids and having learned who I am in the process of nearly 4 decades, I have the skills but I don't choose to play the game.

The point? Maybe he is just a "pretty face". Maybe he is smooth. Doesn't matter, because when the people that matter aren't focused on knocking boots, the truly important things take priority. His time will come to reshuffle his as well.

So to qualify for being an actor in Saudi Arabia you have to be an ugly bastard then :hmmm:
