A lot of you may not know who he is, but to those of us who faithfully watched 'M*A*S*H' every week, his appearances as 'Dr./Maj. Sidney Freedman' were a particular treat. Humorous, laconic, and somewhat sardonic, the good psychiatrist would add a bit of character spice to the story lines. Arbus was one of those great character actors who you often see in various films and shows but just don't know his name...
Ninety-five years is a good long run; RIP, sir and thank you...

I used to love the scenes between his character and Col Flagg. :haha:
I can vaguely remember him, been a long time since I watched M*A*S*H and I was very young at the time.

RIP Sid:salute:. I always watch a couple of episodes of M*A*S*H when its on TV, though I get really annoyed when Hallmark channel skips the final episode.

My top sitcom when I was growing up. Loved his character as well as the others on the show . Just a awesome group of people and writers that do not come around often. RIP.

I wish more real life psychiatrists were like the character he played.
