Hi 63fisherman

I'm just replying letting you know that there are many members on this forum who will be able to help with your PC problem (unfortunately I'm not one of them) but I have SH3 installed from Steam using Win7 and 64bit without any hassle. Have you downloaded updates for your graphics card?

I hope you get it sorted as it's an excellent game with a nice learning curve.

All the best and good hunting :salute:

SH3 questions are better asked here:

The forum part that we are in now is for the latest (upcomming) release of Silent Hunter Online.

That said, what sort of hardware do you have? In particular the Graphics chipset/card. Is it a dedicated graphics card, or is it onboard the Motherboard? The latter option usually has insufficient capacity to handle the 3d aspects of games like SH3.

So, please post some more specs.

Sorry 63fisherman. I was meaning to point this out to you as well. As I say it's a learning curve. It took me ages to work out where and how to ask questions on the forum :06:
