Game wont load

Don't know what's wrong earlier today and yesterday I was able to play Silent Hunter 5 with and without mods but now I can't anymore. I have reinstalled the game, clean up registry of any trace of SH5. This time without mods and I have launch the game but still the game won't launch, the game freeze at the launch screen. The little circle at the bottom left corner of my screen keep's turning and turning without launching the game. My game is patch with 1.2.0 As for now I have uninstall ans reinstall the game 3 times with no change. So can anyone help me please.

Well for now am not using any mods. I installed the regular version of the game without any mods.

I have downloaded the game from gamefly, and it uses UPLAY to launch the game.

Mine won't load either, I get a message saying it has encountered a problem and needs to close. No other info.
This is with and without the CD.
I'm also having problems with Storm Powered, it won't load.

Silent Hunter 4 works fine.

In your first post, you said you reinstalled the game. Even though you uninstalled the game, there maybe something left in the SH5 folder in your documents folder. Delete your personal SH5 settings. Did you totally delete the Silent hunter 5 folder? Check all folder locations manually.

Were you using TDW's patcher? That program will override files with new filedates; it is a possibility that the patcher program or old files on your install folder will cause your game to crash.
