Field Commander Günther von Kluge orders the PzGr.Rgt304 / 2. Panzer Division and KG Knittel /1.SS Panzer to move out. Pzgr.Rgt.304 moves towards St. Barthélemy and KG Knittel towards Le Mesnil-Tôve.

Kg Knittel entered Le Mesnil-Tôve without sign of the enemy.

PzGr.Rgt.304 bumped into the 1/117 Infantry / 30th Division in St. Barthélemy and orders where given to attack and take the town.

Battle of St.Barthélemy


Since I'm dealing with a AT gun and 2 Mortar teams I swapped out the Panthers in favour of using a Grille Assault gun and 2 Mortar Half Tracks to deal with their Infantry.

The main bulk of my Infantry will advance to the west taking the control points located there and then move south to try to make a move on the center of the town from the Western Approach, some infantry will keep a watch towards the South of our starting location to intercept any enemy that might want to go after my main force of Infantry heading west. Mortar Halftracks will supply fire support where needed and the Grille will work in support with 2 Infantry groups to take Hill 106 on our East.

As I should've have expected Americans entrenched themselves in Hill 106 and require to be removed from that location as soon as possible.

After a mortar barrage from my halftracks and a couple of shots from my Assault gun the Americans quickly came to notice that they are no match for German superior Firepower!

Meanwhile my main force of Infantry groups are making their move to their first location. Expecting the buildings ahead might be fortified by enemy troops I'm taking it slow and have them move around in cover.

When they where close enough I ordered the Halftracks to drop some smoke to cover their Assault on the location.

Quickly realized that the building where empty and prepared my forces to move towards their next target the road from the West leading towards the town.

My troops spotted enemy infantry movement near the road to our South and quickly deployed some Mortar fire upon this location with some succes.

Followed by a swift assault by troops located nearby they crossed the field without beeing shot and have taken their position in the house. And from there they watch and defend the Eastern road that leads to the town.

After have secured the western point also without resistance I made a small mistake by hastely moving some of my troops forward and came up against some resistance which positioned themselves in the bushes south of my secured point. Quickly I deployed some covering fire from the MG in the house and a mortar barrage to get my men in the open towards some cover.

Meanwhile on the East side of town the Americans assault the house I've captured earlier, they're quickly delt with by mortar fire, machine gun fire and my Grille which I relocated to the back of the house for later use to support my attack on the town from the East.

Battle Timer ran out and I've managed to achieve a minor victory by holding more locations then the Allied forces in this map.

Couldn't say the same about the American mortar fire though...fell all around me killing 2 infantry and 1 crew member of my Grille :D

In Hill 314 it's the task of KG Fick / 17.SS.PzGR to remove the allied forces from the area.

Predicting that a lot of the enemy forces would be concentrated near the main road I deployed myself in cover behind some of the slops and plan to take the nearest houses as soon as possible to supply cover for my attack.
I know already this isn't going to be a easy fight as clearing the street will be bloody. A couple of infantry groups move North to take some of the objectives located there.


As soon the battle starts my troops spot enemy movement on the main road and responds with heavy fire, I've gone through my mortar ammo way to quickly and probably will regret it later on in this battle.

And here's the part where I regret having wasted all my mortar ammo too soon, thought I wouldn't face any resistance North as I suspected they would be most if not all positioned themselves alongside the main road.

and on more locations my troops got into a locked firefight with the remaining allied forces, time ran out and again achieved just a minor victory on this battle.

Battle for Bion

The SS.PzGr.Rgt.3 is facing the 4th Cavalry Squadron in Bion.
Heavy on Stuarts and Greyhounds I have to deal with these things with static Pak40 AT guns and Panzershrecks. This is going to hurt as in an attacking role the last thing you want is having nothing that can move around...and the Grille isn't going to cut it against high numbers of armoured vehicles.

While my main forces of Infantry will head west to capture the victory locations there the rest including the Pak40 gun and Grille will stay where they are to deal with the enemy armoured threat. The location of the gun is vulnerable but it's the only position I could find where it can shoot across the center of the map.


Immediatly as the battle starts the Pak has found its first target a greyhound heading north.

On grey hound down, we're of to a good start.

Shortly after a new target came into the Pak's sights this time it was a Stuart.

This is good 2 targets down, just 3 more to go and I can start mopping up their infantry. Without that I took immediate notice the Pak40 got fired upon by heavy MG and managed to mow down the crew.

Damn...that's not good at all.
Still got my Panzerschreck team perhaps they can deal with the others if they dare to come close to my infantry that are swarming the locations in the west of the map.

While the Panzerschreck Team failed me to take out the greyhoud located in the trees east of some of my troops I desperately moved in my grille and try my luck taking it out to safe my troops. That didn't work as soon my Grille scored a hit but didn't take the greyhound out the Grille got knocked out.

After observing a locked firefight where the Panzerschreck ran out of ammo other greyhounds and the other Stuart where closing in I decided to give in on the request of a truce send by the enemy earlier.

I still had the upper hand but without AT capabilities it would be sending my troops to a certain death trying to take those remaining armoured vehicles out at really close range.

I'll have to revisit my strategy but gosh I wish I had some decent tanks in this battle :nope:

Battle of Barenton

KG Schmidt / 275th vs the 3/120th Infantry /30th Division.

A Defensive battle for a change and with good equipment to boot Panzer IVH's and a 8.8 Flak gun against their Shermans this is going to be fun.

Seems the Americans can either choose to divide their forces on both entry points and attack me from both sides or focus all their force into one entry point and try to break my defenses.

Battle starts and immediatly we spot enemy infantry and the MG's fire upon them.

Using a flare I light up the area where the Enemy is moving through and they're revealed to my troops and they open fire.

Aha...one of the Shermans let's see if it's stupid enough to head South so it ends up in one of my Panzer IV's line of sight.

While the Sherman remained where it was spotted for the time beeing my MG's managed to mow down some of the enemy troops nearby.

Meanwhile at the sound entry point we noticed no activity so send out some of my troops to capture to point and then link back up North West to strenghten the Defenses.

One down one more to go but I already notice most of the Enemy troops are pulling back as they know they've got no way to go without being fire upon by my troops.

I relocated my 2nd Panzer IV to the North and homed in on their location with infantry supporting the Panzer IV's the 2nd Sherman showed itself and when it came in reach of one of my Panzer IV's it was promptly delt with and before I could take another screenshot of the finished of Sherman the enemy routed from the field.

As the morning came it was time for some movement, orders where given to the following groups.

KG Knittel and the PzGr.Rgt.2 where to move westwards towards Le Mesnil-Adelée.

An artillery barrage of the enemy interrupted the movement of KG Kuhlmann and after that F-Company / 120th Infantry entered St. Clément Rancoudray facing my held up KG.

As I expected a enemy group the 4th Cavalry Squadron entered Barenton so it was good I left my KG there to make sure it'll stay in my hands.

Battle for Le Mesnil Adelée


KG Knittel task is to remove the 82nd Armd Rcn Bn from the area, heavy on the Greyhounds and Stuarts it's going to be up for Knittel to bring out the Pumas.

Since the deployment zones just suck I just applied the tactic ''shoot anything that moves from their area'' and try sweep south-west to cut their advance to the south of if they try.

As soon the battle begins there are 2 Greyhounds right in the open and the exchange of fire between them and my pumas begin.

Soon one was shot to pieces and the second one followed quickly after that.

Bah...they took out my Pak 40 and immobilized a Puma but it still could fire and with succes it scored a direct hit on the greyhound that showed it's ugly turret.

But then the Stuart that immobilized my Puma show himself again and finished it off.

After a while I thought it to be safe enough to make my sweep south west to cut of the enemy forces that would try to move South or futher West.
