Can the Sonar Operator listen whilst we're snorkelling?

Is there a way to be alerted when we get a radio contact report? It's not dropping to 1xtc and i only see them when I go to the captains log.

And is there a way to pause on sound or visual contact so I can go and help my wife paint the playroom?

I'm using Sobers Mod list.

I think the off button is the best way to go when the wife wants you.. just my experience.

I have never tried that but maybe it works, who knows..
Go to save folder - Documents/SH5/data/cfg/main.cfg, look at the tab Time Compression and try to set some lines to 0.. (0 means game's pause).. maybe it will work..

Depending on mods in use, yes you can pause the game. As already mentioned, in changing the .ini file. TDW mods also allow settings changed.

You could also move the computer into the playroom so you can paint and be "on deck" at the same time. Let your wife monitor the game while you paint.
She'll love you for it.
