This guy is suing the victims family because he can't serve his sentence in Canada, where he is from. He says the family is causing him emotional distress.:nope:

Well, such things happens more then once.
In my country the outcome isn't always in favor of the victims of the crime.

There is an example about how a burglar sued the owner of a house because
the owner has beaten the burglar.

You may use force to remove a burglar as long as you don't hurt the poor guy.

Yep, but when such silly suits are allowed, family members can go through loss of work, emotional trauma, etc. I recall another lawsuit a criminal did, had half the family tied up in court for weeks.

Like a counter suit would mean anything in this case.
